Parent Message
As you planned for the birth of your child, Down syndrome was not part of the picture. Denial, sadness, depression, anger and guilt all might appropriately describe the feelings you are dealing with.
We are parents who have experienced these feelings and who support one another to find the joys, inspiration, courage, knowledge and opportunities for our children.
The Down Syndrome Association of the Hudson Valley is an organization created for parents by parents who want to step beyond these early feelings and achieve fulfillment for their families and for themselves.
