Angels Amongst Us
For those
of you in Orange County, check out ANGELS AMONGST US.
A
family support group which has been steadily growing since 1999. We
began with 5 families who had children with Down Syndrome, and now
have
over 80 families who face challenges with a variety of
disabilities.
We meet formally only a few times each year, usually for a picnic or
Holiday party, but help each other throughout the year by exchanging
information and ideas, welcoming new families and setting play dates
so
our children can build friendships. In 2003 we merged with the
DSAHV
and became an Orange County Chapter in an effort to reach and assist
more families.
